This 'Wild and Wacky' Allium collection will elevate your garden to another level! Natures wonderful sense of humour comes through with these funky and bizarre creations collated together to excite your ocular senses! Allium vineale 'Hair' has small, dense purple heads with green tendril-like extensions hovering above looking like a mad-hair day! Growing to 50-70cm in height, flowering May-June.Allium amethystinum Red Mohican has bold wine-red, drumstick flowerheads with an extra tuft on top, tipped with white flowers, emerging like a mohawk haircut. Growing to a height of 75-100cm, flowering May- July.Allium obliquum's zesty lime green spheres dance above unusually twisted stems bringing an air of eccentricity to your garden space. Growing to a height of 50-70cm, flowering June-August.Bees and other pollinators go mad for their nectar and pollen rich heads. Excellent both planted in bold drifts, where they will happily naturalise or as stand-alone specimens in your favourite containers. Alliums are both deer and rabbit resistant and look incredible when used as cut flowers, lasting well in a vase. Happy in any soil, even poor, as long as its well-drained in full sun. Hardy, drought tolerant, bulbous perennials.
