Veronicastrum virginicum 'Pink Glow' will add some elegant structure to your garden.Dense clusters of small pale pink, almost white tubular flowers, are arranged all round tall, leafy, green branching stems from June to September. Very distinctive, the pointed, graceful spires are held high, enticing passing bees, butterflies, and other pollinators closer. As part of the Plantain family, Veronicastrum looks great in formal or cottage style borders. Wonderful planted amongst grasses, the tall, striking and elegant stems will entwine and gently sway in the breeze. Also known as Culver's Root, this herbaceous perennial is easy-going and versatile. A true sun lover, Veronicastrum virginicum 'Pink Glow' prefers to be grown in a sunny position in moist, well-draining soil. Reaching a height up to 1.2m, and spreading 40-60cm, this herbaceous perennial will die back over winter, and sprout again in the spring, surviving temperatures to -20 C and lower.
