Sweets for my sweet!Reminiscent of red striped candy sweets, Verbena 'Voodoo Red Star' will sweeten your summer planting without adding the extra calories!! One of the best verbenas for hanging baskets and containers with outstanding characteristics, drought and heat tolerant being just two.Verbena 'Voodoo Red Star' will form large clusters of red and white blooms which tumble vigorously from lush green foliage, over and down the sides of baskets and pots from summer to the first frosts. Passing bees and butterflies will not be able to pass this floriferous fancy, stopping to feed on all the sweet, sweet nectar. Rated by the RHS as a tender annual H2, withstanding temperatures down to around 1-5 C, we recommend planting verbena in moist but well-drained, fertile soil in full sun. Feed and water regularly and they will reward you all summer long by growing to a height of 25cm and will trail down to 30cm.
