Tell Me More...
Glandularia peruviana ‘Endurascape Purple’ is the first variety to happily cope with drought, summer heat and the colder winter months - tolerating temperatures down to around -5°C. Blooming in abundance, with a mass of rich, dark purple flowers forming large clusters over the aromatic foliage from June to October. Pretty, serrated and deeply veined leaves appear in February and are retained through to November time. Versatile enough for pots, baskets, gravel gardens and borders, the creeping habit of Glandularia peruviana ‘Endurascape Purple’ means it makes fabulous, weed-suppressing groundcover and will trail up to 20cm in containers. Plants are also attractive to bees and butterflies, adding animated, wildlife friendly interest to the garden. Glandularia peruviana ‘Endurascape Purple’ prefers to be grown in well-drained soil of any kind except clay in either full sun or partial shade. Grows to a height of 30cm with a spread of 60cm. A half-hardy perennial which may need an add
