Ever popular in traditional or cottage planting schemes, Geranium work equally well in a more contemporary garden design, perhaps at the edge of a path with taller plants behind such as Alliums and Grasses. Full of pollen and nectar, our pollinating friends will visit the flowers to claim their bounty.Collection comprises; Geranium 'Rozanne' - saucer shaped blooms, in the most beautiful shade of blue with deep pink veins which lead to a white eye at the centre, height 30cm, spread 60cm; Geranium 'versicolor' - white, funnel-shaped blooms, each with dark pink markings, explaining the common name of Pencilled Geranium, height and spread 45-60cm; and Geranium sanguineum 'Vision Light Pink'- an abundance of large, almost luminescent, light pink, saucer-shaped flowers with strong dark pink veins, height and spread 40-45cm.Plant Geranium in full sun or partial shade in fertile soil which is moist and well-drained, and these wonderful plants will settle in quickly, forming neat mounds of attractive foliage. As fully hardy perennials they survive the coldest winters outside for years to come with no winter protection required.
