The wonderous Upstaging Allium Collection brings you fragrant flowers in the shape of parasols, globes and pom-poms which flower successionally from April to July. Blooming commences with Allium neopolitanum in April and its open clusters of starry white flowers offer a dainty lacy impact to the garden, lasting through until June (H: 45cm S: 30cm). Next comes Allium ‘Silver Spring’ (H: 90cm S: 20cm) with detailed and decorative blooms in white with pink and purple accents to the centre of each starry flower from May to July. Last, but by no means least, is the parasol shaped , cascading beauty of Allium nectarscordum siculum (H: 1.2m S: 20cm) with bell shaped flowers held on arching stems around a stronger, central stem – these emerge in June and July offering rich cream, pink and green hues to the garden.
