Tell Me More...
Your Tutu Duo Narcissus collection comprises; Narcissus romieuxii 'Julia Jane' - known as the Petticoat Daffodil boasts slender, almost needle-like, bright green foliage. Accentuating the colour as large, wide, scented, trumpet-shaped blooms in soft shades of buttery yellow looking almost paper-like arrive in March and April, height 10-20cm; and Narcissus cantabricus White Petticoat - known commonly as the White Hoop Petticoat daffodil, extraordinary, open, upright white blooms with green throats and narrow white petals are highly unusual from March to April, height 20cm.Looking amazing when in both borders or containers, these historic varieties also make an exceptional addition when cut for posies and small arrangements, lasting well in a vase.Daffodils are deer and rabbit resistant and will naturalise well creating clumps or drifts through borders and grassy areas, they are a true delight that we all look forward to towards the end of winter. The Tutu Duo Narcissus collection prefers to be grown in moist but well-drained soil, in a sunny or partially shaded area. Hardy to around -10 C, winter protection will not usually be required.
