A single early tulip species which grows to a height of 35cm and flowers in May each year. Tulip White Prince has classical, goblet shaped blooms held on sturdy stems that are resilient enough to cope with blustery weather and make it and ideal cut flower too. Buds are a very pale yellow colour and open to a pure, snow white with an occasional dusting of pink at the petal edges thus providing a crisp, clean silhouette to your planting. Tulip White Prince requires full sun or part shade and needs planting to a depth of 15cm in Autumn. It will then provide for a delightful display the following Spring onwards. This special tulip looks amazing planted as single variety swathes in your borders for a dramatic effect and is of a suitable height for planting in containers too. Alternatively, perhaps, team it with Tulip Nachtwacht to add a powerful contrast to your planting.
