Tell Me More...
Tulip Negrita Parrot is an extraordinary tulip that ticks all of the boxes when it comes to theatrical flowers. It has crown shaped flower heads that sit on top of a dark stem which is surrounded by sword-like foliage. Its tremendous flowers are a deep beetroot purple with occasional flashes of green veins on the outer petals. They ruffle and feather along the edge of the petal in a dramatic fashion. It creates an intense ambiance in the flower bed with the beautiful bright purple flowers that appear during mid-April and fascinate anybody who happens to pass by. Negrita Parrot makes a bold statement in the garden and in the house as these flowers are spectacular as cut flowers. Thriving in full sun in fertile soil with good drainage. Needless to say, this plant is one of a kind with its unique feathered edges and mesmerising colours that are sure to entice any garden visitor next Spring.
