A generous tulip with as many as five to eight flowers on each stem - Tulipa multiflora 'Flaming Club' creates a bountiful, exuberant and striking floral display. Blooms are single, cup-shaped and a dazzling mix of brilliant white and ruby red stripes and flares which resemble the flames referenced in its name. This particular variety is perfect for bringing together a display of corresponding single-coloured varieties, such as the deep red 'National Velvet', and pure white 'Triumph Inzell' or for planting alongside other striped and flared blooms for a carnival of colour. Flowering from April to May, Tulipa 'Flaming Club' can be relied upon for a joyous spring display, whether planted alone or mixed with other blooms.Perfect for a sunny border or container. Plant generously to allow spares for the vase. Originating from hot, dry habitats, tulips prefer fertile, sharply drained soil in full sun. Excessive wet will not be tolerated. H&S: 50cm x 15cm.
