Tell Me More...
The beautiful and sumptuous Tulip 'Havran' is intensely dark burgundy in colour. It feels as rich as it looks with its petals like silk; making it seem almost iridescent in the spring sunshine. The opulent plum tones will give your spring planting scheme a level of sophistication like no other. With its tall appearance, buds open out into the archetypal symmetry of the Triumph family of tulips. Tulip 'Havran' is the perfect mid to late sprin flower, pair with Tulip 'Gavota' or 'Foxy Foxtrot' for an intensely strong tulip show or with pastel shades of Erysimum for a gorgeous spring display. Plant in October or November for flowers to arrive in April and May. Prefers a spot in full sun or partial shade which benefits from well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established and ideal for pots, rockeries, gravel gardens and borders. Stems reach a height of 45cm, with a spread of up to 15cm.
