Tell Me More...
A new and unusual addition to our 2024 range which produces green flowers above green foliage with a hint of lemon yellow – sure to catch your eye! This is a breakthrough ‘Triumph variety’ of tulip which radiates a zesty spring freshness wherever you choose to plant it and is sure to attract many admiring comments. Tulips are ideal for rockeries and gravel gardens as well as pots and borders, the hardy (H6) bulbous perennials are also drought tolerant once established. Tulipa ‘Green Power’ makes an intriguing inclusion in a vase too, lasting up to a week or more. The stems reach up to 50cm tall, with a spread of 10-15cm, with the verdant impact looking marvellous planted with other, vibrant colours – particularly blues and purples or oranges and reds. Position Tulipa ‘Green Power’ in full sun with any aspect other than north facing for best results. If planted in a container, bulbs may need protection from cold and winter wet, dependent upon where you garden in the UK.
