An exciting new arrival for 2024. Tulipa ‘China Pink’ is a ‘Lily Flowered variety’ which has broad, silvery green foliage from March to June that is topped by open, goblet shaped flowers from April to May. Blooms are a sugary pink colour with elegant, curved petals which darken as they mature to a richer tone. As they widen to fully open the flowers reveal an inner white base along with pretty golden stamen and pistils. A fantastic and sophisticated way to add colour in borders, gravel gardens and pots, as well as a vase inside your home. Furthermore, blooms are pollinator friendly and provide vital sustenance to early bees and butterflies who may visit your garden. Small wonder that the RHS has bestowed its Award of Garden Merit upon these pretty flowers in recognition of their reliable and resplendent performance. Plant Tulipa ‘China Pink’ in fertile, well-drained soil of any type except heavy clay and position in full sun with any aspect except north facing. A hardy (H6), bulbous
