Tell Me More...
Sweetly scented lily-flowered Tulip Ballerina is a valuable addition to your spring garden. The vibrant orange petals are streaked deeper orange and look striking when planted next to dark Tulips such as Black Hero or with a bed of Heuchera Lime Green Marmalade which will hide the fading foliage.Tulips are perfect for borders and containers and make excellent cut flowers. Blooms will last a week or longer in the vase if the water is changed regularly and the bottom of the stems are trimmed each time.Plant your bulbs 15cm deep in well-drained soil in sun or part shade between October and December and you can expect flowers in April and May the following year on impressively tall stems up to 60cm in height.Tulip Ballerina has been given the Award of Garden Merit (AGM) by the RHS for outstanding performance in the garden and will reliably return for many years to grace your borders.
