Tell Me More...
In one of the most sought-after shades for the garden and vase right now, Tulip Apricot Beauty will hit all the right notes in your spring garden.Blooms on stems up to almost 50cm tall are elegant and statuesque in the softest shades of apricot and peach. They look fabulous when planted with dark and dramatic Tulips such as Black Hero and Black Parrot.Plant your bulbs between October and December, 15cm deep in moist well-drained soil. Add grit to the planting holes if you garden on heavy clay.Tulips make excellent cut flowers, lasting a week or longer in the vase if you change the water regularly they also continue to elongate once cut. Pick the flowers just as the buds begin to open to enjoy them for longest.Tulips prefer to grow in full sun but will tolerate a little shade. Perfect for pots with other spring flowering bulbs or a frill of Heuchera which will hide the leaves as they fade.
