A late double tulip variety which is a charismatic, complimentary mix of peaches, pinks and pale coral colours. Tulip Tropical Sunset is reminiscent of languid, lazy summer evenings and exotic sunsets - the relaxing colour palette is a joy to behold. They grow to a height to 30cm, making them perfect for the front of your planting or a special container in a sunny spot. These shorter stems make them sturdier than some tulips and perfect cutting material for bouquets and vases where the candy colours will truly be shown at their best. Plant in Autumn to a depth of 15cm in a well-drained soil which benefits from sun or part-shade. They will then delight you with their peony-like blooms the following April - May. Remember to let the foliage die back before tidying as this will restore nutrients to the bulb for repeat flowering the following year.
