Tell Me More...
As spectacular as its Monaco based namesake with Tulip Monte Carlo there is no gamble that you will be a winner with these in your garden. With blousy blooms of golden yellow with slight variegation of green they will certainly bring some Mediterranean like sun to the borders in early spring. As a member of the Double Early family you can expect large double flower heads measuring almost six inches in width from Tulip Monte Carlo. Looking wonderful when planted with orange and white cultivars such as Tulip Orange Lion and Tulip Mondial for a flamboyant early spring display. Plant in October or November and you will be cashing in on your tulip planting from late March and early April. Perfect for cutting and adding to bouquets or just enjoying in the border. Plant in full sun and in well-drained soil to get the best show from these tulips.
