Tell Me More...
Tulip Crossfire is a fiery sunset of a Tulip which will add glorious colour to your garden. This double-petalled Tulip offers gorgeous orange petals tinged with golden yellow tips. Perfect for attracting pollinators to your garden. The mid-green foliage offers a perfect contrast to the hot hue. Planting clumps of 10-15 Tulip Crossfire will ensure a swathe of floral colour. Bulbs should be planted at a depth of 15cm in full sun but sheltered from strong winds. The bulbs prefer well-drained, fertile soil to thrive. Crossfire grows up to 30cm (12") in height and spreads to 15cm (6"). Bulbs are planted in autumn and the flowers appear April/May. This plant is classified as H6 hardy by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). To maintain Tulips, deadhead spent flowers and remove the foliage when faded and the blooms will return next year. Perfect flowers for a floral arrangement in a vase.
