The huge blooms of late-flowering Tulipa ‘Copper Image’ are of the double bowl-shaped variety, meaning they are generously packed with petals and have an almost peony-like appearance. Coloured with a blend of warm, antique shades of orange, apricot, bronze and pink, this variety mixes easily with a wide range of colour schemes. Strong, stout stems are more than capable of withstanding April showers, as well as giving good performance as a cut flower. Perfect for a sunny border or container display. Try pairing with dark, dramatic purples for an eye-catching display; think ‘Queen of the Night’, or ‘Arabian Mystery’. Originating from hot, dry habitats, tulips prefer fertile, sharply drained soil in full sun, with shelter from strong winds. Excessive wet will not be tolerated. H&S: 45cm x 15cm. Hardy bulbous perennial.
