Golden-hop and yellow-coloured petals gradually fade to foam-white at the tips.Tulips are a symbol of spring and one of the most popular spring bulbs, making an appearance in most gardens. whether in borders or in containers. A little-known fact is that tulips are the longest lasting cut flower, they even continue to grow after they have been cut. Florists are trained to cut the stems a little shorter than ultimately required and get the classic floral arrangement seen in many historical paintings.Tulips are versatile and happy in borders and containers.
