Tell Me More...
Sometimes mistaken for a peony, double-flowered late Tulip Angelique is breath-taking in full bloom and will win admiring glances and plenty of compliments in your garden. Soft pink ruffled petals are flushed with pale and dark pink flashes during late April and May. Perfect for giving colour once the early bulbs have finished but before the summer perennials really get going. Stems reach 45cm tall making Tulip Angelique perfect for cutting and filling a vase for the table or windowsill. The flowers will last a week or more if cut just as the buds are opening and you can enjoy the transformation of these stunning flowers close up.Plant your bulbs 15cm deep in moist, well-drained soil between October and December. Fabulous in the front to mid border or grown in a container. They look great either by themselves or with other spring flowering bulbs such as Tulip Black Hero.
