Tree ferns grow in areas of high rainfall enjoying partial shade and a mulch of dead leaves which fall into the crown from the forest canopy above them. This feeds the tree ferns and keeps the crown moist and protected. Tree Fern Feed helps to encourage vigorous foliage and root growth in your ferns. During the growing season, as the fronds start to move, feed weekly into the crown (top) of the tree fern. Tree Fern feed can be used on all types of ferns whether in containers or planted in the ground. A wetting agent has been added to help the tree fern take in this feed efficiently. Directions-Shake before use. Mix 10ml of Tree Fern Feed to 2 litres of water and apply directly to the crown (top) of the tree fern, feeding once every week during the growing season.
