The ‘Starlight Tulbaghia Collection’, is sure to be the main attraction of your summer garden, as elegant long stems bear clusters of glittering blooms. This collection comprises; ‘Ashanti’ – pale pink blooms, blue-green foliage, height 50cm; ‘Flamingo’ - bright, lime green grass-like leaves with vibrant, pink base, make it attractive even when not in flower, lilac pink blooms, height 75cm; and ‘Kilimanjaro’ – pink mauve blooms, slightly grey-green foliage, height 50cm. Blooms are borne throughout the summer months and often well into autumn, happily establishing in a container if it is sheltered from strong winds – making winter protection more straightforward. Also notable for its antibacterial and antifungal properties it is, consequently, an exceptional companion plant to roses and other plants which are prone to fungal disease. Tulbaghiam prefer to be grown in a sunny site with east, south or west facing aspect, in free-draining soil. Half-hardy (RHS H3) perennials to around -5°
