A relatively new variety of dwarf lilac with an exceptionally long flowering period. Syringa meyeri ‘Flowerfesta Pink’ will bloom its heart out commencing in late spring – as other Lilac – then continuing intermittently right through until the autumn. Perfect for smaller gardens, balconies and patios, or the middle of a large border where the breeze will carry its sweet, heady fragrance for all to enjoy. Even better, the flowerheads are larger than many other Syringa meyeri varieties and the nectar-rich blooms will provide a feast for your pollinators. Syringa meyeri ‘Flowerfesta Pink’ stems also make a beautiful addition to long-lasting floral arrangements, allowing you to enjoy the scent in your home and create a beautiful welcome to your family and other visitors. This deciduous shrub is fully hardy (H7) and will not need any additional winter protection.
