Garden Inspiration
Tell Me More...
Bounteous and bushy, marvellous magenta aster. Perfect for that late garden glow and an excellent transitional bloom which will take your garden from summer through to the end of autumn. Symphyotrichum novi-belgii 'Neron' is a reddish-pink double flowered extravaganza with golden hearts to glow in your borders and containers from June right through to November each year. Symphyotrichum novi-belgii 'Neron' also offers an invaluable feast for pollinators and is beneficially drought tolerant once established. Plant these splendid domes of blooms to fill a bed with sculptural, colourful mounds or line up in pots to create an exhilarating avenue of hardy perennials. We love these dependable and vibrant daisy-like blooms as not only do they add colour to the garden, they can even be cut and added to bouquets or vases to spread their joy inside too. Symphyotrichum novi-belgii 'Neron' prefers a spot with any aspect other than north facing. Plant in moist, well-drained soil where it can enjoy full sun. Reaches a height and spread of 50cm.
