Garden Inspiration
Tell Me More...
Sutera diffusus ‘Scopia Mixmaster Venus’ makes a big impression for such a low growing plant, mostly thanks to a profusion of beautiful flowers. Blooms adorn long dangling stems all summer and continue into the autumn. A versatile plant which will trail from baskets and containers or grow as weed-suppressing groundcover. Plants are supplied as a single, ‘trio plug’, to ensure you get the best results in the quickest time. These plants have been carefully selected both for their fabulous colour combination and their ability to give baskets and containers a professional look. One ‘trio plant’ contains blue, pink and white Sutera – enough to happily fill a 30cm container. Sutera diffusus ‘Scopia Mixmaster Venus’ originates from Africa and plants are also known as Bacopa. In herbal medicine Bacopa is believed to enhance memory whilst in India these plants are believed to have divine attributes. Plants prefer well-drained soil which is loam or sand based. Position in full sun or partial shade and they will reach a height and spread of 30cm, also trailing to 30cm. Tender (H2) perennials which will need protection from frost over winter if you wish them to return next year.
