This delightful Salvia farinacea 'Farina' collection is composed of a group of plants commonly referred to as mealy sage. All are herbaceous, half-hardy perennials native to Mexico, Nuevo Leon, and parts of the United States such as Oklahoma and Texas. Strong spires of charmingly coloured flowers stand proud, watching over your borders as they elegantly sway in the wind. They are fantastically weather resistant and flower for an exceptional six months from May until October. Perfect for a cutting garden, often said to resemble Lavender, plants compliment any dried or fresh flower arrangement beautifully. Plants prefer well-drained soil in full sun or part shade and will reach a height and spread of 40-50cm. May require winter protection, dependent upon where you garden in the UK. Collection comprises: Violet, Arctic Blue, Silver Blue
