Sophie Conran of the British design family lends her country house style to this high-performance Digging Spade. Narrower, slightly smaller, and more lightweight than more traditional designs, it is ideal for gardeners of smaller stature. Light, elegant and strong, the handle and shaft has been created using FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified and approved Ash wood for long-lasting durability. The comfortable T-shaped handle is extremely easy to use and displays a stylish brass plaque with the Sophie Conran at Burgon and Ball logo. The spade head and socket are made from mirror-polished, rust resistant, stainless steel. The slender design makes it lightweight and ideal even for manoeuvring between plants in closely planted borders. The Sophie Conran Digging Spade measures 1m long and 15.5cm wide and weighs 1.7kg. Simply wipe down with warm soapy water after use
