With a height of 40cm and spread of up to 30cm, these luscious perennials will also provide a dazzling display in your home. Originating in the tropics and sub tropics, these warm temperate evergreens provide a never-ending carpet of spectacular colour, so long as they are kept frost-free.
Often treated as annuals, with an RHS hardiness rating of H1C, Coleus will not cope with cold temperatures, so think about taking cuttings in late autumn to ensure you can enjoy an even better display the following year.
