Tell Me More...
Solanum lycopersicum 'Romello' is an exciting, mini plum tomato which has been bred and selected for its ability to thrive in a large container or hanging basket and still produce and abundance of fruits from July right through to October. As a mounding and trailing variety, unsupported stems will cascade over the edges of baskets and be laden with yellow flowers commencing in May and continuing through to August. Green fruits then quickly develop into the scarlet red jewels which are just perfect for snacks, salads and sauces. So, save your windowsill spaces from trays of germinating seeds and buy your tomato plants 'ready to grow'. Solanum lycopersicum 'Romello' will arrive with an established root structure and bursting with vigorous potential. Just remember to water and feed regularly and you will get up to 4 months of succulent, sweet and juicy tomatoes as a reward.Solanum prefer moist, well-drained soil in full sun. 'Romello' is a warm, temperate annual which grows to a height and spread of 45cm.
