Tell Me More...
Since its introduction in 2018, 'Honeycomb' has quickly become a firm favourite among home growers. Its large, golden orange fruit regularly wins blind taste tests, and it is now considered to be one of the sweetest varieties available. Bearing long, elegant trusses, 'Honeycomb' crops prolifically from July to October and has been shown to have a good resistance to blight. Like all tomatoes, it is a half-hardy annual which requires temperatures of 5 C and above. Raise all young plants undercover, and if planting outside do this from May onwards once all risk of frost has passed. For best results choose a sunny spot with fertile, moist, well-draining soil. Whether growing under cover or outside, in containers or the ground, it is important to keep tomatoes well-watered and fed weekly. Provide sturdy support and pinch out sideshoots as they develop. Pinch off the top of plants once they have set three trusses outside, or six trusses inside. H: 2m S: 50cm.
