Native to the mountain meadows and woodlands of continental Europe, these intriguing flowers will love a place in your garden with partial or dappled shade. The Scintillating Centaurea Collection boasts blooms with linear, fringed petals in rich and resplendent hues to shine forth from May to July each year. The flowers are held on upright stems and act as magnet for pollinators. Included in this colourful bundle is an unusual and exciting bicolour variety – the first of its kind and sure to attract admiring eyes. Collection comprises spectacular, bicoloured newcomer montana ‘Amethyst in Snow’; bright blueish purple and plum montana; and rich plum montana ‘Jordy’. Blooms are held above grey-green bushy foliage which is retained from March to November – filling gaps and adding foliage interest.
