A generous mix of magical and intensely fragrant blooms in cooler pastel shades to add serene colour from March to May. ‘Scentsational’ Hyacinthus Mix is beautiful not only for containers and herbaceous borders, it is well suited to rockeries or under deciduous shrubs too. You can even cut them for a vase inside your home – where the sweet, floral perfume will spread indoors creating a fabulous welcome. Each stout stem grows up to 30cm tall and holds clusters of densely packed, starry blooms above a bed of glossy, strap-shaped leaves. For those of you to whom deer and rabbit are an issue – they will leave these blooms well alone. ‘Scentsational’ Hyacinthus Mix prefers to be planted in well-drained soil of any type. Position in full sun to partial shade and these hardy (H4), bulbous perennials will bring pleasure for years to come, naturalising in the right conditions to amplify their impact.
