New for 2024, these sculptural beauties are perfect for borders or containers, make the most of the architectural beauty on your patio or balcony. Originally native to South Africa these creamy white blooms will bring an air of elegance and sophistication to your garden.
Scented blooms appear throughout June to August with a beautiful jasmine and orange blossom perfume. Gently arching, the arrow-shaped canopy of delicately speckled foliage is held from March to November. Stunning in their own right, and brilliant for filling gaps and creating verdant, architectural interest even without the statuesque blooms.
The Scented Zantedeschia Duo prefer to be grown in a moist, well-drained or damp soil which is humus-rich and loam or clay based. Position them in full sun or partial shade in any East, West or South facing aspect. Hardy to around -10°C, these rhizomatous, herbaceous perennials will lose their leaves over winter and return, reinvigorated the following spring. In much colder areas a protective mulch is recommended, alternatively you could lift the bulbs and store away from frost.
