Tell Me More...
An unusual addition to our range, which is a newcomer from its native Australia and as delightful as it is dainty. Scaevola aemula 'Scala' Pink produces intriguing pink, 5-petalled flowers which resemble miniature fans (hence the common name). Plants form low, loosely packed mounds and flower prolifically from June right through until the first frosts. Scaevola aemula 'Scala' Pink should be grown as an annual in the UK due to its tender nature. However, in its native Australia the foliage is evergreen and plants continue to bloom all year round. Perfect for those of you who are seeking heat tolerant additions to your summer planting and ideal for containers, as well as for borders or rockeries. Would also look perfect cascading over a wall to conceal edges and trail for up to 20cm. Plants prefer full sun or part shade and well-drained soil. They will reach a height of 35cm, with a spread of 45cm.
