Tell Me More...
Rose Yellow Fairy, like other Drift Roses has been specially bred to stay compact. Large, semi-double fragrant roses, perfect as groundcover in borders or containers, can now grow in your hanging baskets. Whatever next!A mound-forming, colourful, spreading, neat shrub rose which gives you incredible colour for months on end, whilst preventing those pesky weeds from coming through. A 'Drift Rose' is a cross between a full-size groundcover rose and a miniature rose.As in the poem by Rose Fyleman, you can now have 'Fairies at the bottom of your garden', and wherever you chose to plant them, you can sit back and enjoy the stunning scent and incredible number of blooms from spring to first frosts. You will certainly 'get the drift'. Drift roses are much loved by bees, amazingly easy to grow and virtually maintenance free. Reaching a height and spread of 60-90cm, preferring well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Being perennial, you will be enjoying these in your garden for years to come. Drift Roses require no winter protection, unless you are in the absolute coldest of areas, in which case just add a mulch around the base of the plant.
