Tell Me More...
Rosa rekord 'Cubana' creates drifts of deliciously fragrant roses which not only look incredibly beautiful but also suppress any pesky weeds. Clusters of fully double, highly scented, peachy pink and yellow blooms appear on each single stem to give a more relaxed and informal flow to your garden. The flowers smother the glossy foliage from spring to first frosts, so much so, a freshly cut supply of roses is available to place in delicate vases without the overall beauty of the plant being affected. Rosa rekord 'Cubana' is much loved by bees and amazingly easy to grow, being virtually maintenance free. Simply deadhead any spent flowers to ensure a continuance of blooms during the flowering season. Rosa rekord 'Cubana' will reach a height of 60cm with a spread of up to 1.2m. Plants prefer a spot which benefits from well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Being perennial, you will be enjoying these in your garden for years to come and they require no winter protection, unless you are in the absolute coldest of areas, in which case just add a mulch around the base of the plant.
