Abundant and tall rambler which not only makes a real statement in a garden, it also makes a beautiful wedding gift. One of the Hayloft team, Cathi, has this beauty climbing through a wonky apple tree in her garden and advises it always receives admiring comments regarding the proliferation of flowers and the incredible, intense musk like perfume in July to September each year. Buds emerge in a rich shade of apricot, flowers then open apricot cream and mature to white with a crown of golden stamen. Introduced in 1950, this pollinator friendly flower likes a position in either full sun or partial shade and grows to a staggering height of 8m with a spread of 2.5m, strong stems will create elegant arches for classical, relaxed cottage garden impact.Rosa 'Wedding Day' prefers to be planted in rich, moist, well-drained soil. A hardy deciduous shrub which does not need winter protection throughout most of the UK.
