Tell Me More...
Introducing Rose of the Year 2024!Rose 'Meteor' will certainly live up to its name. Just like a shooting star bursting through the atmosphere burning up and glowing with heat, Meteor's double blooms open with golden yellow hues, which gradually turn to a vibrant flush of red from July to September. This floriferous floribunda with dark, glossy green foliage boasts a delicate fragrance and a neat, upright growth habit which is perfect for planting both in borders and containers. Position near seating areas where the subtle scent can be fully appreciated by us and by the passing bees and butterflies looking for a nectar feast.Rosa 'Meteor' prefers fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil in a sunny position and will reach a height of 50-70cm with a spread of 30-40cm. Hardy down to -15 degrees, so will not need any further winter protection throughout the UK.
