Tell Me More...
A traditional ‘noisette’ type climbing rose which traces its history back to 1817 and is thought to be one of the first of its type. Named after French nurserymen Louis and Phillipe Noisette these beauties have a long flowering season and boast beautiful foliage alongside a gentle growth habit. In recognition of its outstanding and dependable performance Rosa ‘Blush Noisette’ holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit. A variety which repeat flowers exceptionally well offering masses of blush pink blooms from June to September. Flowers are semi-double with a cupped shape and are held in tight clusters – perfect for cutting as well as climbing on trellis or over a pergola. The fragrance is second to none, with a rich musky, clove tone which makes Rosa ‘Blush Noisette’ perfect for locating near a seat or a window. As a relatively short climber your plant will reach a height of 3m with a spread of 2m and can also be grown as a large shrub. Plant in moist, well-drained soil of any type, and with any aspect other than north facing. Once established plants are drought tolerant and enjoy a location in full sun.
