Tell Me More...
An exciting new, fruiting shrub which gives unusual, golden yellow fruits from July to October each year. Rubus ideaus 'Fallgold' is an 'everbearing', or late cropping, raspberry so you can enjoy this much-loved berry for longer as well as it's intriguing colour. Oh, and rest assured, there is no taste compromise with these succulent jewels either! They are sweet, juicy and heavy cropping berries which are perfect for puddings, cakes and ice creams.Rubus ideaus 'Fallgold' flowers in June to August each year with fruits developing quickly afterwards. Flowers are a great source of sustenance for bees and other wildlife too. This variety will happily grow in containers as well as in the ground so bear this in mind when deciding where to locate it. Perhaps, use it as decoration too, so you can show off its glorious colour. Prefers a moist, well drained soil which is neutral to acid in pH. Prefers full sun but will also thrive in partial shade. This deciduous, fully hardy perennial shrub grows to a maximum height of 2.5m with a spread of 1.5m.
