Tell Me More...
Early, abundant and spineless A relatively new introduction from the 1980’s, Rubus idaeus 'Glen Moy ' is, we believe, one of the very best raspberry varieties, for their large, beautifully flavoured fruits and spineless canes. The foliage starts to sprout in late spring, and by June green-white blooms are enticing local pollinators. The large, luscious fruits form in June and July on the thornless canes, so you wont get prickled when picking. Growing your own fruit and vegetables is beneficially to both your health and your wellbeing. While ensuring that you have regular stocks available, fresh ingredients taste better and are much better for you and your family, and working in the garden promotes better sleep and energy. Rubus idaeus 'Glen Moy ' has been shown to be aphid virus resistant, which ensures you get the best crop possible each year, from this deciduous shrub. Hardy to -20°C, (RHS hardiness rating H6), it is best grown in a sunny spot, where it will reach a height of 1.2-2
