Snow white, Puschkinia libanotica Alba will add plenty of sparkle to your spring garden, lighting up pots, borders, and rockery areas.Known as White Russian Snowdrops, pretty Puschkinia Alba are charming little wildflowers originating in the eastern Mediterranean.Dainty spikes carry masses of star-like, pure-white flowers which bloom in March and are delicately fragranced.Puschkinia are named after the 18th century Russian botanist Apollo Mussin-Pushkin and are a member of the Asparagaceae family. Plant these twinkling blooms as bulbs in autumn, 10cm deep, on moist, well-drained soil in an area where they can naturalise beautifully such as under trees or shrubs or fill gaps in your spring pots or rockery area.Happy in sun or part shade, these hardy bulbs will reach a height 10cm and spread of 5cm.
