The best attributes of the family, the Pure Anemone collection is a must have in any garden. The collection comprises three beauties. Anemone hupehensis var. japonica 'Praecox' is one of the earliest and longest flowering of the Japanese Anemones, a well-behaved favourite which gives fantastic colour from July to October with bowl-shaped flowers in shades of deep pink, height and spread 35-50cm.Anemone hupehensis 'Fantasy Snow Angel' is the first white of the Fantasy series, exquisite double blooms with layers of crisp white petals which curve inwards slightly. A marvellous disc of bright yellow stamens surrounds a green centre - height 50cm, spread 35-45cm.Anemone x hybrida Queen Charlotte boasts semi-double, soft, pale-pink flowers which almost seem luminous in the dim evening light, height 1.5m, spread 60cm.The Pure Anemone Collection are fully hardy, herbaceous perennials which will tolerate temperatures to -20 and lower, becoming dormant over winter, the foliage will die back and resprout again in the spring.
