Tell Me More...
A compact and decorative perennial with shimmering, silvery white leaves borne from February through to November each year. Pulmonaria Moonshine is a newcomer which looks as if its foliage has been splashed with white paint - only the perimeter of each leaf shows the thinnest edge of dark green. From March to May the palest blue, almost white, flowers emerge adding to the dramatic moonlit impact of these gorgeous, weed-suppressing shade lovers. Plants are ideal for the edge of a woodland or any other shady spot where the silvery-green leaves can magically shimmer forth along with a speckling of intriguing, dainty blooms. Pulmonaria Moonshine prefers to be planted in moist, well drained, humus rich soil which benefits from partial to full shade. A hardy, semi-evergreen which should not need additional winter protection throughout most of the UK as plants are able to withstand temperatures as low as -10 C. Image credit to Terranova Nurseries.
