An intriguing plant and one of the first perennials to flower. Pulmonaria hybrid 'Twinkle Toes' will shine out from shady areas. The green foliage is lightly splashed with silvery markings and remains attractive throughout most of the year, being held from March right through to November. Fascinatingly, the silver spots are caused by air pockets cooling the surface of the leaf and masking the chlorophyll to bring us this magical effect. From March to May, neat clusters of pink buds emerge and open to reveal light blue blooms, creating a wonderfully charismatic colour combination. These charming and enticing flowers are sure to lure you in for a closer inspection and, as one of the first flowers to emerge, they offer early nectar to hungry pollinators too. Flowers will make a beautiful inclusion in a dainty, posy vase; allowing you to bring springtime indoors.Plant Pulmonaria hybrid 'Twinkle Toes' in moist, well-drained soil in full or partial shade and ensure that soil remains moist. A hardy, herbaceous perennial which will reach a height and spread of 60cm.
