The common Orchid produces large, feathery plumes from mid-spring until July over mid green pointed spotted foliage. Many think that terrestrial orchids are difficult, but planted in moist, well-drained soil in dappled shade, they are really easy to grow and truly stunning. Due to indiscriminate collecting these indigenous orchids are under threat of extinction in the wild but our plants are grown in a laboratory. Extremely easy to grow, we recommend that Dactylorhiza are kept in large pots for at least one year. Prefers moist well-drained humus rich soil in dappled shade. Height & spread 45-60cm (18-24). Hardy perennial. Please note that due to the size of the parcel we are unable to deliver this product outside of the UK.
