Buddleja davidii 'Silver Anniversary' not only makes the perfect gift for a gardener with its celebratory name, it will happily thrive in containers, as well as open ground, reaching a maximum height and spread of 1.5m. Furthermore, its semi-evergreen habit means that it holds its sensational, silver leaves for most of the year. In July sumptuously honey-scented panicles of flowers emerge with rich, ochre-coloured centres. Flowers remain until September time, attracting butterflies and other pollinators for decorous impact. Cut stems also make a beautiful inclusion in a vase or bouquet.Buddleja davidii 'Silver Anniversary' prefers a spot with any aspect other than north facing.
