Pink pond loving Pickerel with a perfect perfumeA beauty for pond, lake and quiet river edges, this marginal aquatic plant offers a blushing display of late summer colour. Your Pontederia cordata 'Rosea' produces a deciduous clump of large, paddle-shaped leaves. This attractive foliage is embellished with a rosy glow from July to September when sturdy spikes topped with musky-pink flowers appear.The densely flowering spears on your hardy American native are loved by bees and butterflies, providing a great source of late season nectar.
