Easy to grow, Penstemon thrive in borders and containers, are not bothered by soil conditions and are perfectly content in either sun or partial shade. Once mature, Penstemon flourish in drought or rain, have built-in resistance to slugs and other garden pests, but are loved by our friendly pollinators. Priceless for summer and autumn colour, Penstemon flower non-stop from May through to November and often later. Penstemon prefer to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. All in this collection are hardy to around -10°C, so should not require winter protection.
